Forex Trade Copier MT4/MT5 is a local copier. It moves trades between terminals that run on the same computer or VPS by reading and writing a shared file, so it needs no internet bridge between the accounts. It also handles the awkward cases most free copiers skip: MT4 to MT5 in both directions, hedging to netting accounts, and brokers whose symbols carry suffixes like EURUSD.m.

How the copying works
Forex Trade Copier MT4/MT5 is split into two roles. You attach the Master to a chart on the source account and the Client to a chart on each destination account. The Master writes every position and pending order to a shared file, and each Client reads that file and reproduces the trades. Because the link is a local file, both terminals have to run on the same machine or VPS, and the Master and Client must point at the same folder name (the pathWrite and pathRead settings).
Lot sizing and filters
The copier does more than clone lots one for one. You can copy with a fixed lot, a multiplier, or in proportion to the master account balance or risk, which matters when the two accounts are different sizes. Trades can be filtered before they are copied, and there is a reverse mode that flips buys into sells for hedging or mirror setups.

Where it fits and where it does not
A local copier suits a signal provider running many client terminals on one VPS, a trader mirroring one account across several brokers, or moving a tested demo strategy onto a live account. It is not a cloud service: it will not link two accounts on machines in different locations, and it does not run on the MetaQuotes VPS, which blocks the file sharing it relies on. For remote copying you need both terminals on the same rented VPS.
