Gold Grid Strategy EA is an MT5 expert advisor that trades gold (XAUUSD) by opening a trend-aligned basket and adding same-size orders at set distances until the basket reaches a combined profit target. The package includes multiple internal strategies and broker presets so you can tune activity and aggressiveness.

The EA grids rather than martingales: each add is the same lot size and basket depth is capped. There is no hard stop loss applied to the basket; exits rely on a virtual basket take profit and break-even rules. Performance depends on lot sizing, deposit size and whether auto lot scaling is used. Run the EA on a demo account for several weeks, log median and maximum basket hold times, trade frequency and the deepest equity drawdown you observe. Use those numbers to decide live lot sizing and a suitable equity drawdown cutoff.

2. Restart MetaTrader 5 so the EA appears in the Navigator and the PDF shows the install path you will see
3. Attach the EA to an XAUUSD chart; the EA manages timeframe internally so any chart timeframe will work
4. Start with very small fixed lots on a demo account for at least one week; record median and worst drawdown and basket hold times
5. Set the spread filter and news pause to match your broker, enable the equity drawdown cutoff and choose a conservative cutoff while learning
