Alpha Gen EA is an automated MT4 expert. It places pending orders at support, resistance and pivot levels and only arms them after the EA sees confirming market movement. The package here is version V1.9 and includes a ZigZag helper indicator.
The EA avoids martingale and grid systems and attaches a stop loss plus a trailing stop to every position. There is an input that limits how many orders can stack at one structure and a FixRatio money management option that increases lot size slowly as account equity grows. Defaults are tuned for XAUUSD on the H1 chart, and inputs let you use other pairs and timeframes.

How the EA enters trades
Alpha Gen waits for chart structure and places pending orders at levels it considers significant rather than sending market orders on every tick. A confirmation step must occur before a pending order is armed to reduce false levels.
Because it places pending orders on gold, the EA's behavior depends on your broker's rules for spreads, slippage and minimum stop distance. Test on your chosen broker.
Risk and money management
Every position includes a stop loss and a trailing stop so exits follow predefined rules rather than averaging into losses. The EA does not use martingale or grid. An input caps how many orders can stack at one structure and the FixRatio option increases lot size slowly as profits grow.
Setup quirks to respect
There is a mandatory hidden input that must be set to 1000 for the EA to trade. Beyond that, tune order density and trailing settings such as Start Trail and Trail to fit your instrument and broker.

설치
- Unzip the package and copy the EA file into MQL4/Experts and the ZigZag indicator into MQL4/Indicators, then restart MT4. The package includes a PDF install guide.
- Set the mandatory input to 1000 before any backtest or live run, or the EA will remain inactive.
- Load the EA on an XAUUSD H1 chart with the default profile first, with martingale and aggressive scaling off.
- Run the EA on a demo account for at least one to two weeks. Track trade entries, the deepest drawdown and how many positions can stack at one level.
