FireStorm Scalper EA V5 is an MT4 expert advisor aimed at gold trading and prop firm challenge presets. The engine opens layered orders in a grid and can hedge; martingale lot progression is optional. The package includes multiple set files for different account sizes, symbols and timeframes.
Inputs include fixed lot mode, an equity stop that acts as an account-level hard stop, a news filter that can close trades before high-impact releases, and a basket take-profit that closes the whole set when the target is reached. The EA runs on MetaTrader 4 and includes a PDF install guide plus set files to help you start.
Grid and martingale risk. The EA can increase lot sizes and keep baskets open until price returns. Start on demo, use fixed lot mode and a hard equity stop on small accounts; do not enable martingale until you understand the drawdown behaviour.

How the EA works
FireStorm is a recovery-style grid EA. It opens an initial order and adds layers as price moves against that position.
If hedging is enabled, buy and sell engines can run separately. A basket take-profit closes all open orders when the combined target is reached.
You can choose fixed lot sizing or enable martingale-style growth. The included set files control how aggressive the grid is and how many layers it will open.
What the key controls do
Fixed lot mode keeps each layer at the same size and reduces runaway risk compared with martingale. The equity stop closes the basket if losses exceed a set threshold.
The news filter can flatten or pause positions before high-impact events. Presets set grid step, grid factor, max lots and take-profit so you can load a starter configuration quickly.
Who should consider it
This EA fits traders who understand grid mechanics and accept deep drawdowns for a chance at recovery. They also need to run extended demo tests to tune presets to their broker and capital.
It is not suitable for traders with small accounts who cannot tolerate layered-grid drawdowns, nor for anyone who enables martingale without thorough testing.

Results are not independently verified. Run the EA on demo for several weeks on the broker and account type you plan to use, and log the maximum drawdown, how often the grid adds layers, and how often the basket TP or equity stop triggers. Use those numbers to size positions and decide whether martingale is worth the risk.

- Copy the EA into your MT4 MQL4/Experts folder, and keep the set files in a folder you'll remember
- Restart MetaTrader 4 so the EA appears in the Navigator panel
- Attach FIRESTORM.SCALPER.V5 to an H1 XAUUSD chart and load one of the included set files, such as an XAUUSD 100K preset or 200k_Preset_Chart_1.set
- Begin on a demo or cent account for at least one to two weeks, observe maximum drawdown and the number of grid layers added, and test with martingale off
- Keep the news filter enabled and set a conservative equity stop (HardSL) before any live deployment
