The 5 in 1 One Strategy EA, also known as Shelby EA, is an automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It packs five strategies into one robot, each taken from a different EA, and picks one of the five for each entry.

You choose which strategies are active, which timeframes they run on, and how much risk to take. That is the robot's main configuration: the same EA can run aggressively or cautiously depending on how you set it.

What the EA includes

  • Five combined strategies: New Way, Flower, Golden Elephant, Goofy & Donald Duck
  • Automated trade execution
  • Stop Loss & Take Profit on every trade
  • Optional Martingale mode (off by default)
  • Supports multiple Forex pairs and XAUUSD
  • Suggested timeframes: M30 / H1

Every trade Shelby EA opens carries a stop loss and a take profit, so no position is left open indefinitely.

The five strategies inside the robot

The robot is built from five separate strategies, each derived from a different EA:

  1. EA New Way, which integrates three further methods: EA Flower, EA Golden Elephant and EA Super 8. Super 8 trades aggressively and has its own way of reading trend direction.
  2. EA Flower, based on "HFT" (high-frequency trading) price analysis. It studies bar openings and closings and opens a trade when a run of rising or falling prices breaks.
  3. EA Golden Elephant, which identifies trend reversals and filters market noise to produce entry and exit signals.
  4. EA Goofy, similar in function to Golden Elephant, with further refinement of the trend analysis and noise filtering.
  5. EA Donald Duck, which reads the trading volume of major players such as banks to anticipate price reversals, then generates signals from that.

Martingale: optional, off by default

With Martingale on, the EA opens trades progressively and increases the size after a loss to try to recover it. With Martingale off, it opens one trade at a time. The default is off, and turning it on is your call.

Martingale significantly increases drawdown and risk. Your exposure can grow very fast after a losing trade. If you enable it, size your capital accordingly, and test the EA on a demo account before using real funds.

Recommended setup

  • Account balance: around $100 minimum. Enabling Martingale needs more capital.
  • Pairs: EURUSD, GBPUSD, XAUUSD, USDCAD, NZDUSD, AUDUSD and EURJPY. It runs on other pairs too.
  • Timeframe: M30 or H1. It runs on other timeframes too.
  • VPS: run it on a VPS so the EA does not stop every time your own machine sleeps or loses its connection.
  • Account type: a low-spread, low-commission ECN account.
Test before you go live. Run the EA on a demo account for at least a week and make sure you understand how it behaves before using a real account.

Trading foreign exchange and using automated systems carry a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Martingale-based methods in particular can lead to large drawdowns and the loss of your capital. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
