Breakthrough Strategy EA is a MetaTrader 4 robot that manages a 12-pair basket from a single chart, with preset sets for each symbol. Many of the sets open positions near the Friday session close and carry them into the new week.
The EA has two risk profiles. Conservative mode uses a hard stop loss and does not average into losses. Aggressive mode turns on Use_Grid_mode, which averages into losing trades and scales lot size with a multiplier, combining grid and martingale behavior. How the EA runs the basket
You attach the EA to one chart and point its pair list at the 12 symbols. It then manages entries and exits across all pairs from that single instance. Parameters usually load from the preset sets through the Trading_Scheme input, so you do not need to edit each field by hand.
Two internal logic blocks, Breach and Channel, change how signals are produced. Some sets add two optional blocks for further tuning.
The Friday close idea and timing
Many of the published sets open positions around the Friday session close and hold them into the next week. Because this depends on broker server time, set GMT_Offset_AUTO and check it against a reliable clock before the EA needs to hit those session boundaries.
Day-of-week toggles let you pick different timing. The sets included, though, assume a Friday close bias.
Conservative versus Aggressive: what to weigh
Conservative sets use fixed stop losses and skip averaging. They behave like a scalper and cap the loss on each trade. Aggressive sets turn on Use_Grid_mode, which removes the stop, adds positions against the move, and raises lot size through Multiplier_of_trade_Lot. That combination can produce short-term gains, but the drawdowns run much deeper.
Use a low-spread account and a stable VPS. Run any set on demo long enough to see how often the EA holds open basket exposure between closes.

Installation
- Download the Breakthrough Strategy EA package from AutoFXRebate and unzip it somewhere you can find again.
- Copy the Expert Advisor file into MQL4/Experts, and put the .set files in a folder you can load from the EA's input dialog. Keep the included PDF install guide for reference.
- Restart MetaTrader 4 so the EA and sets show up, then open a chart (any timeframe) and attach the EA.
