MEF Algosoftbot is an MT4 expert advisor that keeps one trade open at a time and manages it with hidden virtual take profit and stop loss. It offers an optional virtual trailing lock. How the bot manages trades
The EA opens and manages a single position, so it does not stack multiple concurrent trades. Exit levels use hidden virtual take profit and stop loss stored on the terminal rather than sent to the broker. An optional virtual trailing lock can secure profit as the trade moves in your favour.
Keeping one trade lowers the risk of aggressive stacking, but a single position can still hit its stop and incur the full loss. Position sizing and stop placement remain important.
Inputs you will see
The parameter set is compact and uses Indonesian labels. Key inputs let you switch between auto lot and fixed lot, set the balance divider for auto lot sizing, and configure Hidden_TP, Hidden_SL and the trailing lock.
Start with a fixed lot or a conservative balance divider while you learn how often the EA trades and how wide stops need to be with your broker and symbol.
What to weigh before running live
The EA trades modestly, around a few trades per week, and can stay idle for days. Record trade cadence on demo so your position sizing matches observed activity.
