SHREDER MT4 Forex EA
A fully automated MT4 grid robot. It adds bigger orders as price moves against it and closes the whole basket at a small target. It suits traders who understand martingale risk and are prepared to watch the news.
SHREDER MT4 Forex EA trades a price grid. It opens a small first order, then adds another each time price moves a set number of pips against the basket. Every new order is larger than the last. When price comes back far enough to hit the take profit, the whole basket closes. Up to three strategy blocks can run side by side, each with its own magic number, so the EA can hold buy and sell baskets at the same time.
In a ranging market this collects many small closes. A trend that keeps running is the danger, because lot sizes grow fast. To handle that, the EA has a stop set as a percentage of balance, a profit target on the same basis, a trailing stop and a hard cap on orders per strategy. You need to switch those on before going live and pick a deposit that fits the risk. Around high-impact news, step in yourself.
Nine pair set files come with the EA. They give you tuned grid spacing and targets to start from, so you are not building the inputs from scratch.
Martingale core, small accounts. Each new grid level opens a bigger lot than the one before. A strong trend can push floating drawdown far beyond what a $100 or $500 account can carry. UseStoplossPct is off in every bundled set file, so turn it on before the first live run. Keep the starting lot at 0.01, and around high-impact news either stand aside or close the basket.

How a basket builds and closes
The EA opens its first order at the starting lot. If price moves PipStarter pips against it, a second order goes in at the previous lot times Booster. That repeats until price turns and the basket reaches the TakeProfit distance, and then all its orders close together. The EURUSD set file uses a 19.5 pip step, a 12.5 pip target and a Booster of 1.55.
Start with how fast the lots grow. At 1.55 the tenth order is about fifty times the first, so a basket that began at 0.01 lot is placing roughly half a lot by level ten. Each strategy allows 15 orders, and the last levels run into whole lots. Turbo mode switches on after TurboDivider orders (3 in the set files) and pushes harder for a close when the market is flat. If you set ContinueTrading to false, the EA finishes the current grid and then does not start a new one, which is handy before news or a weekend.
The inputs that control your risk
Most of the risk sits in a few inputs. The set files leave the protective ones off, so check each of these before your first run.
- The starting lot (Lots) is 0.01. To start above that, set UseManualLots to true.
- Booster is the lot multiplier and PipStarter the spacing between grid orders. A lower Booster or wider spacing makes the grid slower and less aggressive.
- MaxTrades_1 to MaxTrades_3 cap the orders in each strategy block, which limits how big the last lot can get.
- With UseStoplossPct on, the EA closes every trade once drawdown reaches StoplossPct of balance (20% in the set files). Treat it as the emergency brake for a long trend.
- UseTakeProfitPct and TakeProfitPct close everything once profit equals the set share of balance.
- MM sizes the starting lot from balance with Lots = 0.00001 × (balance / Divider). For example, $10,000 with Divider 10 gives 0.01 lot.
- DollarTakeProfit_s1 to s3 close a strategy's orders at a fixed cash profit, which helps when all three blocks run together.
Who it suits and what to weigh
SHREDER is not a set-and-forget robot. It fits a trader who already knows how grids behave and is willing to supervise, which means checking the calendar and pausing the EA or closing baskets before major releases. Once the account has grown enough to cover the starting deposit, take that deposit out so later risk sits on gains rather than on capital.
If you want every trade to carry its own stop loss, this design will feel stressful. The same goes if you plan to start with a very small balance and low risk. The AutoFXRebate library has EAs with fixed per-trade stops, and those are a better place to start.

Judge a grid EA by how deep its baskets go rather than by its count of winning closes. Run it on demo for several weeks with UseStoplossPct on. Record the deepest floating drawdown and the largest lot the EA opened. Also note the most grid levels it reached on each pair and what happened to open baskets on news days. Choose your live deposit from those figures, and use them to decide whether to lower Booster or MaxTrades.

設定方法
- In MT4 go to File > Open Data Folder. Copy the EA from the package into MQL4/Experts and the pair set files into MQL4/Presets (the MT4 install PDF in the package shows the same steps)
- Restart MT4, turn on AutoTrading, and tick Allow live trading in the EA properties
- Attach the EA to EURUSD, GBPUSD or EURGBP on M5 or H1 and load the matching set file, such as eurusd.set
- Before the first run, set UseStoplossPct to true with a StoplossPct you can live with. Leave Lots at 0.01
- Give it several weeks on demo and note the deepest drawdown and largest lot. Ahead of major news, set ContinueTrading to false or close baskets
