Questions
Are these tools free?
Yes. Every tool works in your browser with no account, no download and no limit on how often you use it.
Where do the live prices come from?
From the MT5 servers of our partner brokers. Our system reads bid and ask every 5 minutes, and the market tools use those readings. When the market is closed, they show the last prices before the close.
Do the calculators work for gold and other metals?
Yes. Gold and silver use their real contract sizes: 100 ounces per lot for gold and 5,000 ounces for silver, with a pip of 0.01. For indices, oil and crypto, contract sizes differ from broker to broker, so check your broker's specification.
Will my broker show exactly the same numbers?
Close, but not always to the cent. Brokers use their own contract specifications, conversion rates and rounding. Treat the results as a planning estimate and check the final figure in your MT4 or MT5 terminal.
Which tool should a beginner start with?
The lot size calculator. Choosing how much to trade from your stop loss and your risk per trade is the habit that keeps an account alive long enough to learn.
Trade the same, pay less
Every lot you trade pays spread or commission. Open your account through AutoFXRebate and the broker pays part of that cost back to you as a rebate.
Trading forex and CFDs on margin carries a high risk of losing money. These tools give estimates for planning and education, not investment advice.
