Converted at the current rate. Your broker converts at the rate when the trade closes, so pairs not quoted in your account currency can differ slightly.

Prices: bid and ask from our partner brokers' MT5 servers, updated every 5 minutes. Last update ⁦2026-10-23 20:58 UTC⁩. The market is closed, so these are the last prices before the close.

How profit and loss are calculated

The price change between entry and exit, times the contract size and volume, gives the result in the quote currency. A sell trade earns when price falls, so its sign is reversed.

The result is then converted to your account currency. Spread, commission and swap are not included.

  • P/L = (exit − entry) × contract × lots, reversed for a sell
  • Pips = (exit − entry) ÷ pip size

Questions

Why does my broker show a different result?

Brokers subtract commission and swap and convert at the exact closing rate. Small differences are normal.

Does leverage change profit and loss?

No, the volume does. Leverage lets you open a bigger volume with the same margin, which is why it makes gains and losses grow faster.

What is the difference between realised and floating P/L?

Floating P/L belongs to open positions and changes with every tick. It becomes realised when you close the position.

Trade the same, pay less

Every lot you trade pays spread or commission. Open your account through AutoFXRebate and the broker pays part of that cost back to you as a rebate.

Trading forex and CFDs on margin carries a high risk of losing money. These tools give estimates for planning and education, not investment advice.
