Fibot Fibonacci EA

An MT4 expert advisor that plots Fibonacci levels and enters on a 38.2 retracement breakout. Run in single-trade mode or with optional martingale and hedging.

Expert AdvisorMT4Fibonacci 38.2H1, H4Optional martingale

Fibot is an automated MT4 expert advisor. It draws Fibonacci levels over a configurable swing and opens trades when price breaks the 38.2 retracement. The EA has a single-trade mode with fixed stop loss and take profit, plus optional martingale and hedging blocks you can enable.

There are more than 60 inputs covering the indicator window, money management, martingale steps, weekday trading hours, and spread and slippage filters. It typically scalps small targets of 10,15 pips. Use a low-spread broker and a fast VPS for reliable execution. AutoFXRebate provides the Fibot EA folder, a set file, and PDF install guides with the download.

Martingale and hedging are available. Start with martingale off on demo and consider recovery modes only after long testing and with capital sized to cover deep drawdowns.

How Fibot decides entries

Fibot measures a swing across a configurable number of bars and draws the Fibonacci grid automatically. It waits for price to break the 38.2 level and treats that breakout as the start of the next leg. A minimum width filter can skip grids that are too narrow to reduce low-quality signals.

Clean mode versus recovery options

The simplest setup is martingale disabled: one trade at a time, fixed stop loss and take profit, with lot sizing that scales to account size.

If you enable the martingale block there are two modes. Multiply multiplies subsequent lots and Plus adds the starting lot. Hedging can also be enabled. These recovery features increase potential drawdown and require much larger capital plus conservative limits on lot growth.

  • Off: single position with fixed SL and TP.
  • Multiply: subsequent orders multiply previous lot size.
  • Plus: subsequent orders add the initial lot size.

What to weigh before you run it

Fibot targets short intraday moves but sometimes holds trades longer, so spreads and execution matter. Use a low-spread account and a stable VPS to reduce slippage and missed fills.

There are many inputs to learn. Run extended demo tests on the same broker and account type you plan to use live, and record trade frequency and drawdowns before risking real money.

Performance

This EA is sensitive to broker conditions and settings. Run it on demo for several weeks, log the deepest drawdown and average trade frequency per pair and timeframe, and use those figures to size positions and decide whether to enable recovery modes.

  • Can run in a straightforward single-trade mode with hard SL and TP
  • Extensive filters let you limit trading hours, spread and slippage
  • Free at AutoFXRebate with install PDFs and Telegram support

Cons

  • Optional martingale and hedging significantly raise drawdown risk if enabled
  • Many inputs require time to understand and tune
  • Best results need a low-spread broker and reliable VPS
  • MT4 only

  2. Copy the provided Fibot EA.set into MQL4/Files or load it from the Strategy Tester sets folder if you use one
  3. Restart MetaTrader 4 so the EA appears in the Navigator
  4. Attach Fibot EA to an H1 or H4 chart, start with default inputs and martingale = Off
  5. Run on a demo account at least a few weeks, record drawdown and trade counts per pair before changing defaults
  6. Use a low-spread account and a fast VPS if you move to live; message AutoFXRebate Telegram for help with installation or set-file questions

Verdict

Fibot suits traders who prefer a clear, single-rule entry based on Fibonacci and who will run extensive demo tests and tune the many settings. Its clean mode with hard SL/TP keeps risk visible, while optional martingale and hedging offer recovery paths that require caution.

Start on demo with martingale off, follow the setup steps above, and consider enabling recovery modes only after long, controlled testing and when your capital comfortably covers observed worst-case drawdowns. Download the package free from AutoFXRebate and contact the Telegram group if you need installation help.
