Top Bottom Indicator

A 0 to 100 oscillator that marks stretched price zones and prints arrows for potential turning points; this page provides the MT4 indicator file and install guides.

IndicatorMT4Bounded oscillatorArrows & alertsManual signals

Top Bottom Indicator is an oscillator that reads price on a 0 to 100 scale. Colour coded histogram zones mark likely highs and lows, and arrows appear on the chart when internal conditions point to a possible turn. Alerts can reach you through terminal popups, email or mobile push, so you don't have to watch the chart to catch a signal.

This is the MT4 build. The indicator only supports your decisions: it does not open or manage trades, so you still need your own entry rules, stop loss and position sizing.

Treat arrows as alerts, not automatic triggers. Run the indicator on demo first and combine it with a trend filter or your own confirmation rules before risking real money.

What the indicator shows

The indicator returns values between 0 and 100, so you can see when price is stretched toward an extreme. A colour coded histogram separates the likely low and high zones, and arrows mark the moments when internal conditions favour a turn.

Alerts can appear as terminal popups, sounds, mobile pushes or emails, so you can watch several charts without staring at any one of them.

How traders typically use it

This is a support tool for manual trading: read an arrow, check the chart context and a trend filter, then decide whether to enter and where to place your stop loss and take profit.

Because the indicator does not manage orders, pair it with your existing sizing and trade management rules, or use a separate lot-sizing tool or EA for faster entries.

What to weigh before you run it

The indicator gives signals but no built-in performance metrics. Use a demo account to record how often arrows occur, whether they hold after candle close, and what stop-to-target distances look like on the pairs and timeframes you plan to trade.

Follow the setup below and use the PDF guide and the AutoFXRebate Telegram group for help.

Features

  • Bounded 0 to 100 oscillator to flag stretched price
  • Colour coded histogram separating likely high and low zones
  • On-chart arrows for potential turning points
  • Popup, sound, mobile push and email alerts
  • Adjustable averaging periods and colour settings
  • Works on any symbol and any timeframe
  • MT4 build provided with install PDF

Performance

This is an indicator, not an automated EA, so there is no equity curve or win rate to check. Run it on demo for a few weeks: note each arrow after candle close, record how often signals appear, and measure typical stop-to-target distances. Use those numbers to size positions and refine your confirmation rules.

Advantages

  • Clear bounded oscillator and colour zones make stretched price areas easy to spot
  • Arrows plus phone and email alerts help you catch setups when you're away from the screen
  • Inputs are adjustable, so you can tune sensitivity to your preferred timeframe
  • Free MT4 download here, with a PDF install guide and Telegram support from AutoFXRebate

Disadvantages

  • Indicator only; it will not open or manage trades
  • No built-in trend confirmation, so false turns can appear without an extra filter
  • No performance metrics come with the indicator

Setup

  1. Unzip the package and copy the Top Bottom Indicator file into MQL4/Indicators
  2. Copy the included template into the Templates folder if there is one, then restart MT4 so the indicator and template show up
  3. Open the chart you want to monitor, attach Top Bottom Indicator, and set your preferred timeframe and inputs
  4. Check the included How to install MT4 files.pdf if you need more detail on installation or loading the template
  5. Run it on a demo account for at least a week, log each arrow after candle close, and combine signals with a trend filter before trading live
  6. If you plan to trade live, consider opening an account through AutoFXRebate so you get backcom on every lot, and ask for help in our Telegram group

Verdict

Top Bottom Indicator is a bounded oscillator for spotting stretched price zones and potential turning points. It suits traders who prefer manual entries and who will confirm each arrow with a trend filter or other context before trading.

Start on demo, follow the PDF install guide and the included template, and only go live once the demo signals and stop-to-target distances match your plan. Download the MT4 file free from AutoFXRebate and message our Telegram group if you need help installing or tuning inputs.
