Quantum Algo Trading EA is a channel-breakout robot built for the US30/DJ30 index, designed to run on M15 charts. This page provides the MT4 version; an MT5 build also exists.

The EA opens trades after a channel breakout, applies a fixed stop loss and a trailing stop, and limits open positions to two. It supports buy-only or sell-only modes and includes a news filter to pause entries around scheduled high-impact events.

Demo first. Run the EA on a demo account for at least two to four weeks and verify behaviour on your broker before risking real capital.

How the breakout logic works

The EA builds a channel from recent price swings and waits for a breakout before entering. When price breaks the channel it opens a trade in that direction and manages the position with the fixed stop loss and trailing stop.

Because it caps open positions at two and offers directional modes, you can run it on one side only or reduce concurrent trades.

Risk controls and inputs that matter

Key risk controls are the fixed stop loss on every trade and the trailing stop that locks profit as the move develops. The entry logic does not use martingale, grid, or hedging.

The news filter pauses entries around scheduled events. Use the included set files to start with conservative risk settings and observe how often the EA trades on your broker.

  • Fixed stop loss per trade, adjustable in inputs (default near 50 points).
  • Trailing stop that begins protecting profit after a small favourable move.
  • News filter to avoid trading during scheduled high-impact releases.
  • Buy-only and sell-only switches to align with your directional bias.

What to weigh before you run it

US30 breakouts on M15 are sensitive to spread and slippage, so a low-spread execution account and a reliable VPS improve the chance that demo and live behaviour match.

Forward test on the broker and account type you plan to use live. Record trade frequency and the worst drawdown during the demo run before sizing positions.

  • Fixed stop loss on every trade and an adjustable trailing stop

Performance

Results are not independently verified. Use the demo period to collect your own measures: trade frequency per session, average stop-to-target distance, and the largest drawdown. Base position sizing and any feature activation on these demo results.

Pros

  • Clear, rule-based risk model: fixed stop and trailing stop on every trade
  • Simple exposure controls: max two positions and directional modes
  • News filter reduces entries around scheduled events
  • Free MT4 build here with install PDF and Telegram support from AutoFXRebate

Cons

  • Focused on a single instrument, so changes in US30 behaviour affect all trades
  • Sensitive to spread and slippage on M15; needs a low-spread account and VPS to reduce slippage
  • The list price is high
  • No guarantee of updates through AutoFXRebate

Setup

  1. Unzip the 'Quantum Algo Trading EA' folder from the download and copy the Expert file into MQL4/Experts
  2. Copy the provided .set files (US30_low_risk, US30_medium_risk, US30_high_risk, FTMO035, etc.) into the MQL4/Files or a location you use for sets
  3. Restart MetaTrader 4 so the EA appears in the Navigator and enable AutoTrading
  4. Attach the EA to an US30 M15 chart, load a conservative .set (e.g. US30_low_risk) and keep news filter enabled
  5. Run on a demo account for at least two to four weeks, log trade frequency and deepest drawdown, then adjust risk percent or fixed lot size
  6. If you go live, use a low-spread execution account and a reliable VPS; consider opening the account through AutoFXRebate to receive backcom on every lot

Verdict

Quantum Algo Trading EA suits traders who want a straightforward rule-based breakout approach for US30 and who will forward-test on their own broker. The fixed stop and trailing stop make the risk model easy to follow.

Start on demo with the conservative set files, confirm how the EA behaves on your broker and chart feed, and only consider live deployment once demo drawdown and trade cadence match your risk plan.
