EAPASSING US30 EA

An MT4 EA for US30 breakout trading on M5 with exposed risk controls and presets for FTMO-style challenges.

Expert AdvisorMT4US30 / DJ30Range-breakoutFTMO presets

EAPASSING US30 EA is an MT4 expert advisor for the US30 index (Dow Jones), currently at v3.3. It sets a reference range from the analysis hours you choose, then watches for a breakout of that range. The EA runs on one instrument and typically places one to three trades a day.

Risk controls sit in the EA inputs: stop loss and take profit distance, lot size, breakeven trigger, trailing stop, partial close, a maximum-daily-trades limit, and a spread filter. Set-files for several broker presets and FTMO phases come with the download, so you can load a profile quickly. AutoFXRebate hosts the MT4 build free, with PDF install guides and Telegram support.

Demo first. Run the EA on a demo account for several weeks and check how the presets behave on your broker and time zone before risking a funded challenge or live capital.

How the EA trades

EAPASSING sets a reference range from the analysis hours you choose, then looks to trade a break of that range during the operating window. When breakout conditions meet your filters, the EA opens a position and manages it with the SL and TP you set.

Because the system targets session breakouts, trade frequency is low. That helps keep positions inside daily loss limits used by many prop firms, provided you tune stops and filters to your broker's data.

Risk management and presets

Each trade can use configurable stop and target distances. You can enable breakeven or a trailing stop to lock in gains. The EA also handles partial closing and a daily trades cap to limit exposure in volatile sessions.

Set-files come named for common brokers and FTMO challenge phases. Use them as a starting point, then adjust SL, TP and spread protection to match your feed and the challenge rules you plan to follow.

What to weigh before you run it

US30 can gap and spike around the cash open and major news; breakout entries may suffer slippage and wider spreads at those times. Use a low-spread ECN account and a reliable VPS so the EA follows the operating window consistently.

This EA is single-instrument. If you need a multi-symbol robot or automatic compounding, choose a different tool in the AutoFXRebate library.

Features

  • Single-instrument MT4 EA built for US30 range breakouts
  • Exposed SL and TP, breakeven and dynamic trailing stop options
  • Partial close and a maximum daily trades cap
  • Spread filter to skip trades on wide quotes
  • Preset set-files for FTMO phases and various brokers
  • PDF install guides for MT4 and MT5
  • Runs 24/7 on a VPS for stable execution

Performance

Return figures are not independently verified. Run the included FTMO set-files on demo for several weeks and log trade frequency, the average stop-to-target distance, and the deepest drawdown you see. Use those numbers to size positions and decide whether to attempt a funded challenge.

Pros

  • Focused scope: one strategy on one instrument simplifies monitoring
  • Low trade frequency with fixed stops can fit prop challenge constraints when tuned
  • All risk parameters are exposed and adjustable
  • Free from AutoFXRebate with install PDFs and Telegram support

Cons

  • MT4 only here, no MT5 build available
  • US30 breakouts can experience slippage and wide spreads at session open
  • No automatic compounding or multi-symbol support
  • Needs a VPS and low spreads to run reliably; test on a demo account first

Setup

  1. Unzip the download and keep the EA somewhere you can find it when attaching it to a chart.
  2. Copy the EA into your MetaTrader 4 MQL4/Experts folder, and keep the set-files handy for when you attach it (presets include FTMO-Fase 1.set, ICMarkets-Live.set, and others).
  3. Restart MetaTrader 4 so the EA appears in the Navigator, then enable AutoTrading.
  4. Open US30 on an M5 chart, attach the EA, and load one of the set-files, such as FTMO-Fase 1.set or ICMarkets-Live.set, to start with default presets.
  5. Run it on demo for several weeks. Record trades per day, the maximum drawdown, and how often spread protection skipped a signal.
  6. For live use, pick a low-spread ECN account, run the EA on a reliable VPS, and consider opening the live account through AutoFXRebate to receive backcom on every lot.

Verdict

EAPASSING US30 EA suits traders who want a narrow, rule-based breakout tool for the Dow and plan to tune inputs for a prop challenge or a conservative live approach. The FTMO presets make it easier to start within challenge-style limits.

Start with the included set-files on demo, keep risk low while you track drawdown and trade cadence, and move to live only when demo behavior matches your tolerance. Download the MT4 build free from AutoFXRebate and contact the Telegram group for help with installation or set-file choices.
